4300Catalog Seal-LokTMO-RingFaceSealTubeFittings Seal-LokIntroduction TheSeal-LokfittingwasdevelopedbytheTubeFittingsDivision intheearly1980s.Thisproducthasproventobeveryeffective ineliminatingleakageatthehigherpressuresfoundintoday's hydraulicsystems.Itmeetsorexceedsthestrictrequirements ofSAEJ1453andISO8434-3.TheSeal-LokfittingisanO-ring facesealtypefittingthatconsistsofanut,abody,anO-ringand asleeve(Fig.A1).AsshowninFig.A3,thetubeisflangedto 90�(orthetubemaybebrazedinsteadtoabraze-typesleeve). Whenthefittingisassembled,itcompressesanO-ringinthe precisionmachinedgrooveofthe fittingbodytoformaleak tightseal.
